ABOUT OUR SCHOLARSHIP
The mission of The Rezvan Foundation is to support the academic pursuits of exceptionally talented young students who have spent time in foster care. The Foundation provides ongoing mentorship and scholarship funding for full tuition up to $100,000 over the course of four years for each Awardee.* It is our hope that Rezvan scholars will then ‘pay it forward’ and keep the generous spirit of Dr. Ahmad Rezvan and his family alive for generations to come.
The Applicant:
- is a minor now or formerly in foster care; a minor who has been orphaned; or a minor who has been adopted after time spent in foster care
- is a U.S. resident
- is currently enrolled in an accredited high school
- has a GPA of 3.5 or higher**
- has submitted applications to one or more four-year accredited university/-ies
- has no disciplinary record (academic or criminal)
Applications are closed for the 2023 academic year. Will reopen applications in the fall of 2023 for seniors graduating in the spring of 2024.

*Scholarship funds only intended for/shall only be used to pay general instructional fees owed to the accredited four-year university attended by the awardee. Amount awarded will vary based on university attended, and shall be determined by the Rezvan Foundation Board of Directors.
**Students with a lower GPA may be considered if the student can demonstrate significant academic growth. If you have a cumulative GPA lower than 3.5, please submit a written statement along with your application explaining the circumstances surrounding your lower GPA and how you managed to overcome those obstacles to succeed academically.
