Only 3% of children who grow up in foster care graduate from a 4-year college.
Let’s change that together.
“I am an original. Despite struggling in dozens of homes, I succeeded in school. Despite the obstacles of foster care, I became a community leader, helping others in the system to find mentors and families. Despite society labeling me, I broke free of stereotypes and will have a successful life. I am a re-creation.” - Rezvan Scholar
Who We Are
The Rezvan Foundation for Excellence supports the educational pursuits of exceptionally talented young students who have shown a determination to succeed despite growing up or in foster care.
Founded to honor the legacy of Dr. Ahmad Rezvan, an accomplished pathologist in Iran, the foundation embodies his lifelong passion for learning and his conviction that higher education is the key to success and service to humanity. We aim to provide opportunities for students to achieve their academic goals and encourage them to pay it forward, keeping the generous spirit of Dr. Ahmad Rezvan alive for generations to come.
What We Do
The Rezvan Foundation is committed to providing scholarships to high achieving students graduating out of the Foster Care system. At the age of 18, these students no longer have the support or resources to continue their education. That is where we step in.
With up to $100,000 per recipient, we offer one of the highest individual college scholarship awards in the country, along with ongoing one-on-one mentorship. Our comprehensive support aims to break the cycle, change the trajectory, and make a lasting impact on our scholars' lives, not just today, but for generations to come. To date, we have awarded over half a million dollars in scholarships, empowering our scholars to achieve their academic goals and make a lasting impact on their communities.
